Minutes of the Delegates Meeting Thursday 17-March-2016
17/16 The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting

22/16 Secretary apologised about having no minutes as her internet had crashed and is
waiting to hear from BT.
Win explained to the meeting why the last two meeting dates had been changed because
she was going into hospital for an eye operation and then went on holiday.
There was a discussion then about the reports and the league tables going into the
Penarth Times she explained that the Committee had decided to concentrate on getting
the report into the paper and do the League Tables as often as she could. I did promise to
have an update Table into the paper over the Easter period and hopefully if I am doing the
role next season it will be published in the paper more frequently.
We had a discussion about the Summer Competitions and it was agreed that the chair
and secretary to meet up with Evelyn Wainscott and go through the process of how it is
done. The Women’s averages will be on the Tuesday 10th of May and the Men’s Thursday
the 12th of May.The Holme Towers will commence week beginning the 16th of May and
once that was over it would be the Fours followed by the Pairs. Copies of all forms to be
left behind the bar at the Cons Club for the Captains to pick up also a note to go into the
Penarth Times as well including the date of the AGM Thursday 18th of August 8pm
Included in the pack will be a copy of the League Rules.
23/16 AOB –Score Cards can the size of these be changed as people were having
difficulties trying to fit the names in on them,some cards were produced and it was
agreed that Evelyn and Win would have a look at them and report back to the next
meeting.The meeting agreed that in future Evelyn Wainscott should be paid for all the
printing she does of the score cards and anything else that has to be done.
